Creating A Studio in 100 sq feet

There may be tons of snow outside in the Laurentians but inside I have found the best lighting for painting/artwork -- in the laundry room of all places. The perfect winter studio for doing sculpture work. The iconic Tom Thomson trees is part of Canadiania and I was itching to use the foam core for this particular project. I am interested in the profile/outline of the trees and turning the form into a vehicle for abstraction in the painting of them by pouring the acrylics.

It is a work in progress--the actual pouring of the paints will have to wait for Spring when I can work outside on it. The next project is priming canvases for some Laurentian winter landscapes ideas...
